Hello! I'm a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist who has been counseling children, teens, and adults since 1996. I was certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) in 2000 and have gone on to coach over 1,ooo families in PCIT, train and supervise PCIT therapists, provide consultation to PCIT agencies state-wide, co-authored PCIT training manuals and materials, authored a chapter on PCIT in a clinical textbook, and was featured in the web based training for PCIT therapists.
I'm certified in PCIT through the nationally recognized UC Davis CAARE Center, a leader in trauma-informed care since the 1990's. While rooted in trauma treatment, the CAARE Center model is also effective for any family seeking to improve child behavior and stregthen relationships.
Over the past two decades, I've developed an expertise in this evidence-based treatment, allowing me to work quickly and efficiently with families to achieve their goals.
