Leslie Baughman is a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist who has been counseling children, teens, and adults since 1996. Leslie was certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) in 2000 and has gone on to coach over 1,ooo families in PCIT, train and supervise PCIT therapists, provide consultation to PCIT agencies state-wide, co-authored PCIT training manuals and materials, authored a chapter on PCIT in a clinical textbook, and was featured in the web based training for PCIT therapists.
Leslie is certified in PCIT through the nationally recognized UC Davis CAARE Center, a leader in trauma-informed care since the 1990's. While rooted in trauma treatment, the CAARE Center model is also effective for any family seeking to improve child behavior and stregthen relationships.
